BMW Launches M Performance Part Catalog for New 6 Series GT
BMW of Silver Spring knows there are plenty of nimble BMW models out there, vehicles that hug the curve and ride the line. When it comes to the "Ultimate Driving Machine," though, BMW aims to deliver even on models typically considered leisurely and luxurious, such as the new 6 Series GT. "GT," after all, stands for "Gran Turismo" or "Grand Touring," but who says you can't take a tour in a high-performer?
That's why BMW has launched an M Performance parts catalog for the 6 Series GT, and we couldn't be more excited.
Kicking the 6 Series GT up a notch
The new parts will be available with the launch of the new 6 Series GT and feature upgrades to almost every part of the vehicle, inside and out. Take the M Performance exhaust, for example. Not only does it add a new, sportier look to the vehicle, but it gives it a different sound as well.
Other cosmetic upgrades include black trim bars on the air flap control, gloss black kidney grilles, M Performance foot mats, a sports steering wheel with Alccantara-covered grip rests and manual shifting paddles, and carbon fiber mirror covers that add a dash of eye-catching pizzazz to an otherwise minor detail.
6 Series GT drivers can also choose to upgrade their braking performance with aluminum four-piston fixed caliper brakes on the front axle and single-piston floating caliper brakes on the rear. This sport racing-derived braking system is specifically designed to ensure the Ultimate Driving Machine really does deliver the ultimate driving experience.
