What's New for 2025?

The 2025 BMW 4 Series lineup received updated exterior styling with a new front grill and headlight design. Drivers may also choose from several new exterior options like new colors, new wheel designs, and exterior carbon accents when they build their 4 Series. The interior of the 4 Series is sprinkled with updates, too, including an update to the infotainment system and a subtle update to the steering wheel and air vents. BMW has also added a 48V hybrid engine system to its 4 Series lineup that will work in tandem with the existing four-cylinder motor.

Real World Performance

No matter which body style you choose, the base engine is a 2.0-liter TwinPower turbocharged engine producing up to 255 horsepower. All three body styles are available with rear or all-wheel drive, so you can have a traditional sports car experience with rear-wheel drive or a planted drive with the renowned BMW xDrive all-wheel drive. M440i models upgrade the power via a 3.0-liter BMW M TwinPower Turbocharged straight-six capable of up to 386 horsepower while still achieving up to 34 miles per gallon.

Driving Dynamics Control offers drive modes to customize the performance to your needs, while the 8-speed sport automatic transmission maximizes both efficiency and power. High-performance brakes, 5-link rear suspension, dynamic stability control, and double-pivot front suspension work together to provide a seamless driving experience while cruising on the highway or exploring the back roads.
