Overview
For the 2020 model year, the BMW 2 Series comes in full force. The 2020 2 Series is available as a coupe, convertible, or competition coupe. The coupe and the convertible are the same in terms of what's under the hood, but the competition coupe differs with a more powerful engine. Each the coupe and convertible are available in both 230i and M240i trims and can be equipped with xDrive. The 2 Series begins pricing with the coupe at $35,300*, then the convertible at $41,400*, and the competition coupe at $58,900*.

Any driver that wants the BMW experience because the 2 Series is so versatile. The 2 Series offers room for four passengers, which is enough for a small family or a few friends. Driving & Handling
The 2 Series 230i is equipped with a 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo inline 4-cylinder engine that pumps out 248 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. The standard 230i is rear-wheel drive but an upgrade to the 230i xDrive provides all-wheel drive. The coupe and convertible are controlled by an 8-speed automatic transmission complete with Sport and Manual modes.
The 2 Series M240i packs a bigger punch with a 3.0-liter M Performance TwinTurbo inline 6-cylinder engine that produces up to 335 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque. Like the 230i, the M240i is standard with rear-wheel drive but can be equipped with xDrive for superior traction performance.
In a class of its own, the 2 Series competition coupe offers a 3.0-liter M TwinPower Turbo 6-cylinder engine that ferociously produces up to 405 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque. Only offered in rear-wheel drive, the competition coupe also differs from the coupe and convertible by being a 6-speed manual transmission.

The 2 Series models come equipped with iDrive, which allows drivers and passengers to control the technology of the car, from navigation to music. The coupe and convertible boast a 6.5" iDrive screen while the competition coupe screen measures up at 8.8," to make sure you never make a wrong turn again.
